The holster is made of quality leather and sewn with heavy thread. When I first got the holster, I placed my Hunter Heritage holster in it but the trigger guard would not go down into its mating counterpart. I had to keep working and breaking in the holster to make a good match. After breaking in the holster and softening it up it worked out great. The appearance and feel of this holster is of great quality .
