This stainless steel and polymer takedown version of the successful Ruger design makes the perfect camping or backpacking rifle. Like all Ruger 10/22 rimfires, this rifle is ideally suited for informal shooting, survival preparation, hunting and even action-shooting events.
The 10/22 takedown has quick and easy separation of the action from the barrel breaking the 37" gun into two easy to store halves. You simply lock the bolt back, push the recessed lever and twist the rifle apart. The equally simple reassembly returns the rifle to zero every time, even with precision receiver mounted optics using the included combination scope base. This 10/22 ships with an extended magazine release allowing for fumble-free reloads of the ultra-reliable rotary 10 round magazines.
